Give your Fit Boots the care they deserve

Proper maintenance can ensure your Fit Boots
last for many years. Here’s how to keep them in top condition:

Boot Maintenance

REPLACEMENT INTERVALS

  • Always follow the recommended replacement intervals that come with your boots.
  • Light use (like aerobics or dancing): You can usually stretch the replacement intervals a bit longer.
  • Heavy use (like running on sand or fully compressing the shells): It’s a good idea to keep spare parts on hand, as you’ll likely need to replace them more often.

MYFIT ELASTIC BANDS

  • Your elastic bands need a bit of regular TLC. They should be replaced roughly every 50–60 hours of use.
  • If you leave them too long, extra strain can build up on the shells, which might cause cracks or breakage.
  • TIP: Follow the guide on how to change them when it’s time.

MYFIT LINERS

  • Keep your liners fresh and hygienic by giving them a quick spray with antibacterial cleaner after each session.
  • Pop them in the washing machine from time to time using a normal laundry cycle, and make sure they’re completely dry before your next use.
  • Try to avoid the tumble dryer, but if you really have to, use a low-heat setting.

MYFIT BLADES

  • These don’t need regular maintenance – just replace them when they eventually break from heavy use.
  • When you do replace one blade, always replace the matching one on the opposite side too.
  • For example, if the upper right spring breaks, change the upper left at the same time.

MYFIT TREADS

  • Check your treads every now and then – if the profile looks worn down (like tyre treads on a car), it’s time for a new set.
  • This is especially important if you’re using your boots outdoors often. The good news? They usually last for years before needing to be replaced.

BREAKING IN NEW PARTS

  • Whenever you replace a part – even liners – give it a bit of time to settle in.
Just like a new car needs a gentle break-in period, so do new blades and elastic bands.
